1. Choose the trimming opening that best matches your cat’s nail size.

2. Gently hold the paw and press the toe pad to extend the nail.

3. Insert only the clear, pointed tip of the nail into the trimming opening.

4. Trim a small amount at a time.

5. Check the nail before making another cut.

6. Use the built-in file to smooth any rough or sharp edge.

7. Open the clipping catcher and dispose of the collected nail pieces.

8. Clean and store the clipper after use.
